Raffles Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with NEOM, has unveiled its visionary project for a sophisticated resort in the perennially enchanting Trojena, nestled in the northwestern expanse of Saudi Arabia. Anticipated to welcome guests in 2027, the unveiling of Raffles Trojena heralds a distinctive opportunity for patrons to immerse themselves in the natural splendors of the region.
Nestled amid the majestic Trojena mountains, the architectural brilliance of Raffles Trojena is manifested in its avant-garde, circular design: this innovative structure promises panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from every corner, with 105 meticulously arranged Guestrooms encircling the periphery of the edifice. Imbued with the quintessential hallmarks of the Raffles brand, the resort will boast its renowned butler service, an array of culinary offerings, and a pronounced commitment to fostering an appreciation for local arts and culture.
Philip Gullett, the Executive Director and Head of the Trojena region, envisions Trojena evolving into Saudi Arabia's inaugural year-round mountain and adventure destination: offering a plethora of recreational pursuits such as sporting events, skiing, hiking, and immersive experiences in Arabian culinary delights, the resort aspires to be a haven for enthusiasts of nature and adventure. Moreover, stargazing ventures promise celestial delights, contributing to an all-encompassing retreat experience.
As the latest addition to the prestigious NEOM Hotel Division's portfolio, Raffles Trojena will be strategically situated within the Discover cluster, a focal point amidst the six distinctive clusters constituting the mountain destination. This particular cluster, rooted in an ethos of natural exploration, features architectural marvels like the Discovery Tower – an elevated structure functioning as an open-air museum, the Observatory – a peak panoramic viewpoint designed to offer unparalleled vistas of Trojena's topography, and the Cosmic Gate – a stargazing camp and avant-garde astronomical park.
NEOM, currently an evolving region shaped by visionary giga-projects, is poised to redefine the paradigm of sustainable living. Raffles Trojena's collaboration with the NEOM Hotel Division underscores a commitment to integrating luxury hospitality with the innovative and sustainable ethos that defines the broader NEOM initiative. In the confluence of luxury, nature, and pioneering design, Raffles Trojena is poised to emerge as a beacon of refined indulgence in the heart of the Trojena mountains, beckoning discerning travelers to embark on an unparalleled sojourn.
